7. Tracking Protocol-Related Items
Financial Events tab in the CRA Console
Any Protocol-Related Item added in the Financials Console can now be set to trigger a loggable event in the new Financial Events tab of the CRA Console.
Menu > Subjects > CRA Console > Financial Events
This tab will only appear if the Financial Coordinator has set a protocol-related item to the CRA Console trigger
If you are a CRA and are not sure why items are on this tab, please reach out to your Financial Coordinator
To log a Financial Event
Click on the Financial Event tab in the CRA Console
Click the Update button at the bottom right
Click the drop down menu for Financial Event and click the appropriate event
Select the date the event occurred (Occured Date)
Select the number of occurrences for this event on this date (Count)
If the Count field is not editable
The Financial Coordinator designated that this event happens only once
Once the CRA logs this event, it will no longer be available for selection in the Financial Events tab
If the Count field is editable
The Financial Coordinator designated that this event is "variable", meaning it can happen more than once
Once the CRA logs this event, it will still be available for selection in the Financial Events tab
CRAs can include comments, which will be visible to the financial team in the Financials Console (Comments)
Clicking Add will submit the event.
The event will now appear in the Financial Events log on the CRA > Financial Events tab. (Visible to the CRA)
The event will generate an Invoicable Item in the Financials Console > Invoicable Items tab. (Visible to the Financial Coordinator)
Deleting the submitted event
CRAs can delete the event only if the event has not been added to an invoice.
CRAs who need to revise/delete the event, but are unable should contact their Financial Coordinator.
To delete the event, select the checkbox to the right of the event and press submit.
