Create a shipment from an existing shipment

Since Biospecimen management system automatically adds specimens to a shipment, the designated shipping container could become full, and you would need to split a large shipment into one or more smaller ones. For example, if you collect too many specimens for a single small padded envelope, you would create a new shipment to duplicate the original shipment and manually move specimens into the duplicate shipment.
The first step is to view the Shipments panel in Manage shipments screen. Select Manage shipments link

Select radio button beside the desired shipment that should be duplicated, then select Create button.

System displays a pop-up where Ship to and Ship method are populated with same details as that of the shipment selected above. Now select Submit.

System creates a new shipment with same Ship to and Ship method as that of the selected shipment. The shipment is empty and you may move specimens into that shipment.
