Clear your web browser's cache

If the REDCap Login page, your REDCap project pages, or these Confluence pages give you an error message, a quick first attempt at a solution is to clear your web browsers cache.

 Instructions

These instructions were created using a Google Chrome Web Browser version 123.0.6312.106 on a windows computer. However, the steps on other browsers and Macs should be similar.

  1. In the upper right hand corner of your browser window, click the ellipsis (3 vertical dots)

  2. Select Clear Browsing History

  3. When the “Clear browsing data” box opens, ensure “Cached images and files” is checked. The other items are usually smaller so it is optional to have those checked.

  4. Select “Clear Data”
