Confluence Updates
Draggable line labels in whiteboards
Drag and reposition line labels anywhere on the line for greater flexibility and customization on your diagrams in Confluence whiteboards.
Commenting in databases
Add and reply to comments in databases for better collaboration and communication. Edit, delete, resolve, reacted to, and reply to comments anywhere in Confluence.
To add a comment, hover over any cell, and select the comment icon that appears. Alternatively, right-click on any cell and select Comment from the menu.
Jira and JSM Updates
Link Existing Confluence Content in a Jira Issue
You can now add a link to related Confluence content within a Jira Issue.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Open an issue
Click the ‘+Add’ button in directly before the issues name.
Select ‘Existing Confluence Content’. A Confluence Content field will then appear in the issue.
Select the appropriate space the content is housed in, then type the page name or paste a page link to search for a page within the selected space.
Select the appropriate page and click the blue ‘Link’ button at the bottom of the field.
The content will now be stored and accessible within the Jira issue.
Time-saving enhancements to issue navigator
We’re introducing time-saving enhancements to your issue navigator experience.
You can now create an issue in the project issue navigator. Issues load automatically as you scroll in both project and global issue navigators.
These changes apply to team-managed and company-managed projects.

Confluence: "Watch" all items in content tree
You can now watch all items within a content tree in Confluence. This update improves your ability to track relevant updates and changes effectively. To use: Click on the eye icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen and select ‘Watch this content and all child pages’ as shown in the screenshot below.
What's new:
Watch items within content tree: Monitor sub-trees of nested content, including pages, whiteboards and databases.
Simplified notifications: No need to individually watch nested content under its parent.
Improved tracking: Stay updated with changes across all related content.
Important Terminology Changes Coming to Jira:
COMING SOON: Atlassian is changing the terminology currently used in Jira. “Issue” terminology is changing to “Work” or “Work Item” in Jira. As Atlassian implements this change, you may still encounter the term ‘Issue’ in some areas of the tool, rest assure the vendor will be working to resolve these inconsistencies as soon as possible.
