The Research Data Core (RDC) refers to the Institute for Informatics' research data infrastructure that provides secure, reproducible, HIPAA-compliant, and IRB-approved data repositories to collect and store data from patient electronic health records (EHRs) generated during routine patient care.
The RDC is comprised of several data repositories for which data brokerage services are available, as well as web-applications for self-service data activities for qualified researchers.
