I am completing a Data Export when SPSS selected. I exported the files and followed instructions but the data file is not opening. What should I do?

If you are using a Mac computer, there are extra steps that need to be completed. When you are exporting the 3 files necessary to open your data in SPSS, ensure you click “Additional instructions” in the box that says SPSS Statistical Software. If these instructions do not help, try moving the folders to another location on your computer. Macs have a security feature that sometimes blocks SPSS from using files stored in specific folders.  Here are two videos that have helped other user successfully export and open SPSS files on their Macs.
