When Piping variables or using variables in Conditional Logic for longitudinal projects, Longitudinal Projects you are required to add of the event name before the variable name. Both the event name and variable name must be surrounded by square brackets; : [event_name][variable_name].

In the example, specifying the event name, [event_2_arm_1] before the [test] variable name will allow you to pipe the value from the test field for the first event in arm 1 (note, even for projects with a single arm, event names will end with “ _arm_1”):

You can find the event names by going to the Project Setup tab and selecting Define My Events. Event names are listed in the Unique event name (auto-generated) [event-name] column of the table:
